The Ads Work. Three In Four Clicks Never Reach The Page.

Start Over London, Saturday 3 October, for Sir Marco Robinson. The account opened on 1 Oct 2026, so this covers its first 22 hours of delivery (1 Oct 9am to 2 Oct 7am, London time). Judged on free-ticket registrations, the event's money step.

The short answer

The ads are pulling. The money is lost around them. People click at 2.1%, and 38% of the people who see the page register, at $18.95 per registration. But only 39 of 152 clicks (26%) ever loaded the page. The account was also switched off for 7 hours on launch day by a failed payment, and server-side tracking has sent zero events since 30 Sep. This account is two days old with 15 registrations, so treat every number here as an early read, not a verdict.

Where it fell off

There is no weekly trend yet, because the account is two days old. Two shorter charts show where delivery and tracking broke. Left: spend per hour. The account was paused by Meta for a failed payment from 3pm to 10pm on launch day, so 7 hours of the first day bought nothing. Right: server-side events reaching the pixel per day. They stopped on 30 Sep, the day before this campaign launched.

The funnel drop-off

Step by step, over the account's life. One drop is abnormal: three in four people who click never see the page load. Everything after that is strong. Of the people who do see the page, nearly two in five register.

The funnel, walked step by step

One ad, one destination. Every page below was loaded and read on 2 Oct. All return 200 and carry the right pixel. Here is what each step does, what holds people back, and what was checked and ruled out.

Free ticket page

THE LEAK
Free first 50 seats
1Headline: "Turn Your Story Into A Brand That Pays You Daily." Date, time and venue match the ad: Sat 3 Oct, 9am to 6pm, Leonardo Royal Hotel London City.
2Ten buttons ("Claim My Free Ticket", "Secure My Seat Now" and others) all scroll down to the ticket section.
3"Reserve Your Seat" opens the registration form.
Leak: the page is heavy. The page code alone is 609 KB and took 3.5 to 4.4 seconds to download on a fast line, before 10 videos and 32 images load. All 152 clicks came from inside the Facebook and Instagram apps, where people leave a slow page fast.
Mixed message: the ad and the ticket section say the ticket is free, "No credit card required". A lower section says entry is free only if you buy the book and upload your receipt on the form. The form has no upload field, and that "Click Here" link goes to the home page, not the book.
Ruled out: dead link (200, DNS fine), wrong pixel (Marcorob 1365700504246068 loads with PageView), wrong date (matches Sat 3 Oct).

WORKS
5 fields
1First name and last name (optional), email and phone (required), terms tick box.
2Submit sends people to the thank-you page.
3Thank-you page: "You're Registered", speaker line-up, and a "Join The WhatsApp Group" button.
Ruled out: Lead firing on form open. The Lead event fires only on the thank-you page, after a real submit, so the 15 registrations are real sign-ups. The phone box defaults to the UK.
Small frictions: the phone example reads "+1 (555) 000-0000", a US number, for a London crowd. The thank-you page has no add-to-calendar button and no VIP upgrade offer, at the moment people are most keen.
VIP and Super VIP

BLIND
Upgrades
1"Upgrade to VIP" and "Super VIP" buttons on the ticket section open their own pages.
2Each page is a GHL order form with card checkout. Both load (200) and carry the pixel.
3The page's own conversion event is set to none. Only PageView fires on load.
Leak: upgrades are the event's only paid step, and the pixel has logged zero Purchase events since 1 Oct. If someone upgrades from an ad, Meta cannot see it. Not tested with a live payment, so whether the order form fires Purchase on its own is unconfirmed.

Campaign scorecard

One campaign spent in the last 30 days: "MR-SOM | Start Over London Oct 3 | Website Leads", one ad set (London plus 50 miles, ages 21 to 65, $500 a day, ends 9am on 3 Oct) and one flexible ad with 3 videos, 2 texts and 2 headlines. Below it, the split by video and by age, judged on registrations.

* Meta only splits 5 of the 15 registrations down to a single video, so per-video cost is not shown. On clicks, Video 1 carries the ad: 83% of spend and 136 of 152 clicks at a 2.3% click rate, against 1.5% and 0.9% for the other two. $20 (7% of spend) went to Video 2, which produced no page views and no registrations.
